Overseeding: Overseeding can solve a lot of problems. Building a thick, strong turf will help build resistance to drought and disease, crowding out weeds, moss, and unwanted grasses.
- If your lawn is too thin, with any bare spots, time to overseed.
- If you have any weeds, and unwanted grasses, time to overseed.
- If you just removed thatch or moss, time to overseed & topdress with peat moss.
Overseeding in conjunction with De-Thatching & Core Aeration is best, because the seeds will fall into the grooves and aeration holes; also under the plugs where temperatures and moisture is perfect for germination. Topdressing is then applied.
ACE AERATION uses only the highest quality, local grown turf seed and products. We buy direct to give you the best prices possible.
Topdressing: Most times when removing thatch and moss. The turf areas that are bare must be overseeded. We use “peat moss” to cover the seed. It works the best for optimal germination.
- Helps retain moisture.
- Creates optimal temperatures for more rapid germination.
